A Little About Me:  

Three years ago, I switched careers from a world filled with vibrant designs in graphic and web design. Why the significant change, you ask? It's simple: My heart felt a calling. I've always believed that every child has a unique spark within them, and I wanted to be a part of helping that spark shine even brighter. 

I hold a Master's in Marketing, which might seem odd for an educator, but it has taught me unique ways to connect, communicate, and inspire. Life is about blending our experiences to create our own unique path.

My “Why”: 

The mantra “Maslow before Bloom” profoundly resonates with me. This means I firmly believe in caring for our children's basic needs and emotional well-being before diving into academic achievements. Each child needs to feel safe, loved, and cherished, and that's my primary goal each day before any lesson plan.

Fun Facts About Me: 

馃幒 Music is close to my heart. Once upon a time, I played the trumpet with the USD Symphony and the Palm Springs Desert Winds Freedom Band. So, if you ever need a mini-concert, you know who to call!  

鉂わ笍 Love runs deep in our household. My better half is also an Extensive Support Needs special education teacher. We often exchange stories, insights, and teaching techniques.
